A variety resulting from a natural cross between the "Marmande type 27" variety and an American variety that is naturally resistant to Fusarium, carried out in 1961 by the Clause seed company. (RAF stands for Resistant To Fusarium). This variety quickly became popular for greenhouse cultivation in the Almeria region until the 1990s. Registered in 1967 in the French register of varieties. This variety is also known for its resistance to salt water in the soil.
Red fruit 120 to 180 grams, round, slightly flattened and with smooth shoulders.
Thick and very firm flesh. Good flavour.
Plant with medium development and semi-determined growth. Good harvest early in the season.
