Little known heirloom variety of Polish origin. Listed in the Seed Saver Yearbook 2010.
Heart-shaped, raspberry-pink fruit weighing 180-250 grams.
Firm, dense and juicy beefy flesh. Very balanced, sweet and mild flavour, excellent in salads. Unlike most heart-shaped varieties, due to its texture it is not suitable for making sauces and coulis.
Medium sized plant with frail appearance, wispy foliage, indeterminate growth.
Well suited to short season and/or cool summer regions.
