The exact origin of the heirloom is unknown. Featured in the 1998 Seed Savers Yearbook.
Large red, heart-shaped fruit weighing 300 grams to more than a kilo for the largest, gathered in clusters of 5 to 6 units. Ribbed at the top with a presence of crevices along the talwegs.
Dense and fleshy beefy flesh with small lodges containing very few seeds. Mild, deliciously sweet flavour.
Average production. Note that despite the presence of the word red in its name, it is listed as a pink tomato.
