RED VELVET
Origin USA.. Red cherry-like fruit, 2 to 3 cm in diameter, covered with a light down like the foliage.
Developed by Joe Bratka in 1996 and he gave the seed to Carolyn Homme. Joe Bratka later changed the name to "Angora Supersweet". Although there is no guarantee that it is the same tomato, the main features are the same except perhaps for the colour which would appear to be more blurred on the original variety.
Red cherry-like fruit, 2 to 3 cm in diameter, covered with a light down like the foliage (presence of the Angora gene). Clusters of 6 to 8 fruits. No depression at the stem attachment and no trace of umbilicus.
Extra flavour. Very productive and resistant variety.
