A heirloom variety from the USA, introduced in the 1992 Seed Savers Yearbook by Robert Richardson who obtained the seed from Regina Yanice of Mineral, Ohio.
Very large, two-coloured red/pink and yellow/orange beefsteak-like fruit, 300-600 grams, flattened, ribbed at the top and with more or less rippled shoulders. Clusters of 3 to 5 fruits. Broad depression at the stem attachment but moderately deep, umbilical grace in a large dot or a line; 10 sepals.
Dense, fleshy beefy flesh. Very good fruity flavour.
