Variety derived from a selection of "Hillbilly" made by Ruth Marcum, Oklahoma and bred by Darell Merrell.
Large fruit 250 to 350 grams and can reach 500 grams of beefsteak type, round, flattened and with more or less plump and ribbed shoulders.
Dark pink color with purple nuances.
Thick and juicy beef. Flavored flavor "very complex mix of sweet and tart, but still sweet".
Sturdy plant but with limited development not exceeding 1.50 m, indeterminate growth.
Like the classic "Hillbilly" there would be plants with regular leaves and others with potato leaves.
Good production in the second half of the season.
