A heirloom variety originating from the USA, reputed to be adapted to the cool oceanic climate and in particular to that of San Francisco Bay with its cool nights.
Red fruit, round to slightly flattened at the poles, weighing 60 to 150 grams, gathered in clusters of 10 to 20 units.
Juicy flesh, with a complex flavour where the acidity prevails over the sweetness. Note that the more sunshine, the better the taste. Multiple uses, fresh or cooked.
Large plant, dense foliage, indeterminate growth.
Excellent and regular mid-season production. Good resistance to splitting and/or bursting.
