A recent variety from the Dwarf Tomato Project, the result of crossing Black Zebra with a pink variety from the 'Cheeky' family (lineage of 'Golden Dwarf Champion' and 'Cherokee Chocolate'). Stabilised by a collective effort including Craig LeHoullier who named it. Commercially introduced in 2015 by Victory Seed Company.
Small, round, sometimes slightly flattened fruit, 60-120 grams chocolate brown with green vertical stripes.
Flesh dark purple almost black, juicy with a mild, sweet flavour.
Compact tree-like plant with rugosa foliage. Excellent productivity.
NB: for best production it is advisable to grow this variety on several stems. Can be grown in large pots, but yield and fruit size will be lower.
