A variety originating from the USA, subject to controversy: for some it is the same as "Red Ponderosa". Few sites refer to it, none of them in the USA, although it is the country of origin, Ventsmarins and Luc Fichot's site are the only ones to mention it. The best way to find out is to grow the two side by side and judge for yourself.

Large red fruit weighing 200 to 400 grams, round, flattened, with more or less rounded and very ribbed shoulders.

Firm, juicy beef flesh with few seeds. Good, well-balanced heirloom tomato flavour.

A plant with great development in the second half of the season.
