Rare variety developed by Ruslan Dukhov, Ukraine, ribbed variant of Blue Pear.
Chubby fruit weighing 80 to 150 grams, pear-shaped with sometimes ribbed shoulders.
Colour: brown/red/orange with traces of dark purple anthocyanin, almost black shoulders.
Fleshy and juicy red flesh, small lodges with lots of gel and seeds. Good sweet flavour, rather good for a "blue".
Very large plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Abundant production from mid-season to the first frost.
Good shelf life after picking.
Naturally resistant to various tomato diseases and tolerates heat well.
Sachets of about 15 seeds.
