A heirloom variety whose origin is not formally established, probably the USA. Featured in the 1996 Seed Saver Yearbook.
Large pink fruit with yellowish shoulders, heart-shaped with ribbed shoulders, 300 to 500 grams. Cluster of 3 to 4 fruits.
Dense, fleshy flesh with little gel and seeds. Strong flavour of old-fashioned tomatoes. Multiple uses: coulis, sauce, salad.
Fragile looking plant with wispy foliage and indeterminate growth.
Excellent good production, mostly in the second half of the season.
