SOYUZ 11
Designed by Tom Wagner, USA... Almost black fruit, looking like a small version of Cherokee purple.
Recent variety developed by Tom Wagner, resulting from the crossing of "Cosmonaut Volkov" with "Prune Noire" two Russian varieties. Introduced in 2012, it is a stable lineage, named after the cosmonaut Volkov who tragically lost his life and two other cosmonauts during the return to earth of Soyuz 11.
Fruit almost black, looking like a small version of Cherokee purple, 7 to 9 cm in diameter and 80 to 120 grams, round with a slight heart-shaped and smooth tendency.
Juicy flesh containing 5 to 6 lodges. Taste perfectly balanced between smoky/acidic/sweet.
