Variety originating from the USA, descended from the line of "Viper" developed by Blane Horton. Potato leaf version of Pit Viper.
Fruit from 80 to 120 grams, round, slightly flattened at the poles and ribbed on these upper 2/3.
Superb purple dress veined with red and green, the shoulders being dark green.
Juicy, green flesh with a red/pink core.
Very good flavor well balanced.
Strong dwarf plant with large stems, potato foliage, indeterminate to semi-determinate growth.
Good and regular productivity from mid-season until frost.
Can be grown in a large pot.
