Cultivar derived from the "Trinidad Scorpion" endemic to Tobago and Trinidad, named after 'Butch' Taylor, its creator.
This variety held the record for "the hottest pepper in the world" until 2011 with 1,463,700 Scoville units.
Fruit with a pendular port similar to other "Scorpions" with the characteristic sting on the apical part.
Ripens from green to red. The plant reaches +/- 1.00 meters in pots and 1.60 meters in the ground.
Good production in the second half of the season +/- 120 days.
