Variety originating from the region of Tulcea in the South East of Romania at the Ukrainian border. Its translation gives: "Huge of Tulcea".

Big red fruit of 250 to 500 grams, slightly flattened beefsteak type, strongly ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders. Very wide and deep corky depression at the peduncular attachment.
Thick flesh with few seeds. Versatile variety as good in salads as cooked, sauce, coulis.
Abundant production.
