Variety originating from Russia. Developed at the beginning of the years 2000, by Nikolai Egorov Russian tomatophile. At first, he wanted to name it after the Russian president Vladimir Putin, but when the authorities refused, he had to give up (at the time, this story was the subject of an article in "Pravda"...). The latter got around the ban by naming it "Vova Putin", Vova being the diminutive of Vladimir and nickname of Putin as a child!
Red fruit of 200 to 500 grams with a variable shape sometimes blunt cordiform and sometimes beefsteak type.
Fleshy beef flesh with small lodges containing very few seeds. Very good flavor, more acid than sweet.
Plant with great development, very dense regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
