Recent variety, resulting from the crossing of "Cherokee purple" and "Sausage" made and stabilized by Markus Wessel, USA.
Fruit of 150 to 250 grams, more or less elongated and chubby plum type ending in a point.
Thin and delicate skin, purple in color, green shoulders turning purple when ripe.
Dense paste-like flesh, 3 compartments containing little gel and seeds.
Very sweet flavor. Although initially intended for making sauce and coulis, it can be eaten fresh because it is delicious raw.
Very vigorous plant with great development (to grow on several stems), very dense regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Although production begins in mid-season, the harvests are much larger in the second half of the season.
