Very recent variety, developed from 2006 to 2016, realized in the framework of the "Dwarf Tomato Project". One of the varieties from the Sleepy F1 line, a cross between "Budai Torpe" and "Stump of the world", carried out, among others, by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005/6. Initially this cultivar was developed with the aim of obtaining a selection producing red potato foliage fruits but was discovered to produce pink potato foliage fruits! The original name given to it: "Wilpena", was changed to "Willa's cariboo rose".
Fruit of 180 to 300 grams, beefsteak type, flattened at the poles, discreetly ribbed in the upper part and with more or less rounded shoulders according to the size.
Typical flavor of pink varieties.
Compact tree-like plant of +/- 1.20 m, with rugosa potato foliage and indeterminate growth.
Good mid-season production.
