Heirloom that is believed to have originated in Kentucky, USA. Offered to Seed Savers in 2007.
Large fruit of 300 to 750 grams red striped with yellow (or vice versa), more or less flattened beefsteak type, strongly ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders.
Yellow beef flesh marbled with pink, juicy with a texture reminiscent of pineapple. Sweet citrus flavour.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Good production, better in the second part of the season, great variability in fruit size.
