Variety very cultivated on the other side of the Rhine, originating from Russia, developed by Dr Klapprott.
Synonyms: Wintertomate - Klapprott.
Small red fruit of 25 to 40 grams, plum type ending in point/ton, chubby (+/-5 cm of diameter) and stretched on its length, being able to give it a heart-shaped aspect. Fruits gathered in large bunches.
Firm flesh with a sweet and aromatic taste.
Vigorous plant exceeding 2.0 meters, with very fine foliage and indeterminate growth.
Good production rather early.
The particularity of this variety is to be able to suspend the plant loaded with these bunches of fruits to the fruit tree, so it is possible to consume them until January, hence the name of this variety!
